California's Controversy
Runner up for Miss USA , Carrie Prejean, was in the news because she was asked a question about gay marriage and spoke out against it. Now it turns out, the Miss USA company payed for her to have breast implants prior to the contest. She may have lost to Miss North Carolina, but she will be doing a commercial and is dating Olympic swimmer Micheal Phelps. There has been more controversy as to whether Miss USA was ethical in paying for her plastic surgery. Seems like there is some hypocrisy in the beauty business.
