Cartier just turned 100. The world renowned jewelry house had a party in its' mansion recently to celebrate. Stars such as Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake attended the NYC gala. One of the most famous pieces was given recognition. It is a pearl and ruby necklace named "Peregrina". It was given to Queen Mary by a Spanish prince and then Bonaparte took possession , followed by a titled European. In 1969, Cartier acquired the famous jewel worn by Elizabeth Taylor and it is one of the many famed gems the House of Cartier celebrates.
